On Effective Snobbery. I think that when you are going to be snobby and criticize others, you should probably try to avoid making errors that might undermine your credibility.
For example, if you are going to write a review in a public forum such as Yelp.com and criticize a restaurant for not clearing dishes from your table, I would suggest that you do not repeatedly and vehemently type, "Mis en place. Mis en place." For one thing, it is spelled "mise en place." (Yeah, I took French in high school.) Also, "mise en place" has to do with preparing and organizing your ingredients prior to cooking them, not table settings. If you had followed my suggestion, you might have seemed like less of an ass-clown.
I'm just sayin'.
