Brain Rot and Tooth Decay

I'm trying to read The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner. It's tough. My brain can't process it.

Oh, I only got 5 trick-or-treaters on Halloween. Of course they all had to come when I was running around the house without a shirt on, sorting laundry. What perfect timing! So now I have a big bag of glow-in-the-dark fun-size Snickers. I guess I'm just going to have to eat them all so they don't go to waste.

Tell me about it! Faulkner is like a brain twister on speed. I couldn't get through Light in August. Well, I got distracted by less literary things like TV.
