Keeping Busy So, I finally got an internship. I'm going to be a project manager at Academic Information Services for Marshall. It sounds like it'll be a good learning experience (read: a lot of work), and the good thing is that it's a paid internship, because I am in desperate need of money.
Friday was my first day, and it was so hard staying awake since I had gotten used to napping a lot during the day. I ended up drinking Mountain Dew and chewing gum at the same time in an attempt to stay awake. I'm going to have to work on not sleeping during the day.
Today Jaime, Dubya, Jenny, and I went to an outdoor concert at Levitt Pavilion (like a mini-Hollywood Bowl...and I do mean mini) in Pasadena. The performer was a Venezuelan artist named Thania Sanz who performed boleros and other music in both English and Spanish. Her voice was amazing and very versatile. It was a very nice way to spend the evening: sitting outdoors, listening to music, watching little kids play and dance on the grass.
