On the Atkins Diet. Involuntarily I had a craving for fried rice, but it's really difficult cooking a one-person serving of white rice, so I decided to go to a Hong Kong-style cafe last night for dinner where I could eat my fill and still have enough rice left over to take home (you're not supposed to make fried rice with freshly cooked rice...it's too moist). So today, I was all excited about making fried rice with some Taiwanese sausage and went to the market to get some veggies for it. I got out my frying pan, started cooking the sausage and the veggies, and opened the door of the fridge to get the rice, and...it wasn't there. I looked high and low for it, and I couldn't find my takeout box with the rice. It turns out that my brother came home and ate it. So now, instead of fried rice, I am eating sausage. *sniffle* I love white rice. *sniffle* I don't love little brothers.
